NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY
FINDING OF NO SIGNIFICANT IMPACT AND ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT
PROPOSED AVIATION FUEL FARM EXPANSION
WILKES-BARRE/SCRANTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, AVOCA, PA

Pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for the Environmental Assessment (EA) for Aviation Fuel Farm Expansion, at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, located in Avoca, Luzerne County, PA.

The EA was prepared to identify any potential impacts associated with the proposed action. This project modifies the existing facility adding tanks for additional Jet A Fuel Storage, Replacing existing AvGas, Diesel and MoGas storage tanks and cleaning and repainting existing Jet A storage tanks. New MoGas/Diesel fuel dispensing, Reclaim tanks and tank monitoring systems are also being added.

This FONSI indicates the determination by the FAA that the proposed action will not have a significant effect on the human environment.

A copy of the FONSI, and Environmental Assessment, are available for review, during normal business hours, from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM at the Airport Administration Office, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, 100 Terminal Drive, Avoca, PA. These documents will be available for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of this posting.
