According to AVP, the purpose of the pilot program is to make Pre-Check enrollment easier and faster for passengers. The enrollment process takes only a few minutes and costs the same as if someone went to an enrollment center. No reservations are needed.

The pilot program is currently be held this week (December 9th-December 13th) from 5:30 AM-1:30 PM each day, and is located just before entering the TSA Security Checkpoint.  Next week (December 16th-December 20th), the hours will be from 4:30 AM-12:30 PM, and will be located past the TSA Security Checkpoint, near Lucky’s Craft Food and Drink.
